WHO AM I?

I’m Cory and I am a Canadian + French theatre-maker, director, performer, artistic director, translator & actor trainer.

I started working in the arts in Vancouver after graduating from Capilano University with a Bachelor of Performing Arts. I worked as an actor before slowly transitioning into making my own work and directing. This led to the creation of Stages Theatre Co., which following several years of projects, evolved into no comment. th(é)âtre and continues to make shows + create concepts.

As artistic director of the company, I have produced a number of shows and events, and participated in the creation of new works such as Naked Love for the Vancouver Fringe Festival and BALLS! with 2PAR4 for the rEvolver Festival.

The company has developed multiple projects, most notable: DILEMME with Montreal company DuBunker and Théâtre la Seizième, and a documentary project called Hors-Jeu/Offside, on toxic masculinity and abuse in hockey.

In 2016, I moved to London, UK, to attend The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, where I earned a Masters of Fine Arts in Actor Training and Coaching with distinction. I have worked with Rose Bruford College, RCSSD, and no comment. th(é)âtre, facilitating workshops and coaching actors.

I currently live in Vancouver, where I became the Artistic and Managing Director of Théâtre la Seizième in January 2023. When time allows, I continue to work as a freelance director, maker, performer, voice actor, translator & coach.
